Here’s some great news for Nintendo Wii Sports fans who are already bouncing around their living rooms chasing the imaginary ball. There’s a new kid coming to town. It’s name - Wii Fit.
A top selling game in Japan when it was released there in December last year, Wii Fit is now being released in other parts of the world and demand is high. Everyone, it seems, wants to be Wii Fit.

Vitamin pill poppers be warned. Is there any reason for otherwise normal and healthy people to take vitamin supplements? There is more evidence that this is not the case and in fact even in those with certain illnesses e.g. cardiovascular disease, the benefits of “antioxidant vitamins” is dubious.
Now a recent Cochrane systematic review of the literature suggests that vitamin supplements do not increase life expectancy and may actually raise the risk of a premature death.

Just the news you wanted to hear to start your week, right? Sorry, but it’s true. Stress can, in fact, cause your hair to gray.
Why? Stress hormones like cortisol can mess with melanocytes (simply, hair cells). Suddenly, the cells have trouble surviving and/or producing the pigment that keeps your hair its original color. Hence, those pigments disappear and out pops a gray (or white) hair.

The Health Minister was quoted as saying the number of obese people are increasing in Malaysia
About 50% of 13 million Malaysian adults could be overweight or obese, a worrying trend that seems to be on the rise.
Health Minister Datuk Liow Tiong Lai said while the National Health and Morbidity Survey in 2006 revealed that 43.1% of Malaysian adults were overweight or obese, which was double the figure from a decade ago, the numbers could have already increased since then.

I mean can there really be people dying as a result of an overdose of blogging? In what I think is typical media hype, the NY Times is claiming Blogging may be Dangerous, especially when it is done by bloggers who well, just can’t stop blogging.
They cite a few high profile examples:
Two weeks ago in North Lauderdale, Fla., funeral services were held for Russell Shaw, a prolific blogger on technology subjects who died at 60 of a heart attack. In December, another tech blogger, Marc Orchant, died at 50 of a massive coronary. A third, Om Malik, 41, survived a heart attack in December.

Do you…
- drop your handbag onto the kitchen counter?
- leave your toothbrush on the bathroom sink?
- put your sneakers into the bedroom closet?
Then you are just asking for trouble…with your health.
A recent MSNBC article ‘The 16 worst places to stash your stuff’ points out that where you leave your belongings can play havoc with your health.
For example, did you know that your handbag can carry not only all your ‘worldly possessions’ but also a whole lot of ‘buggy’ hanger ons. Recent studies have shown that

Whoever coined the term “necessary evil” might have been thinking of pain. No one wants it, yet it’s the body’s way of getting your attention when something is wrong. WebMD consulted doctors in cardiology, internal medicine, geriatrics, and psychiatry so you’ll understand which pains you must not ignore — and why. And, of course, if in doubt, get medical attention.read more | digg story
